As part of the on-going preparation for the upcoming 15th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) simultaneously with the 10th Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, the Department of Science and Technology – Biosafety Committee (DOST-BC) invited Dr. Felicity Keiper from the Global Regulatory Affairs – Seeds and Traits, BASF last 21 November 2020 to talk through virtual platform on Synthetic Biology.

DOST-Biosafety Committee reinforces knowledge on Risk Assessment
Strengthening capacity – In the fourth installment of the monthly seminar held last 17 October 2020, the Department of Science and Technology-Biosafety Committee (DOST-BC) invited Dr. Brinda Dass, of the Gene Convene – Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) to talk about the Risk Assessment of Living Modified Organisms containing Engineered Gene Drives (EGD) via Zoom platform.
